9th May 2026 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered: Saturday 9th May - walks *** – Around Felixstowe – sunny. We gave the early morning walk a miss this morning despite the weather being nice and trying to get a weather pic on the TV at the weekend is next to impossible but in the end I succumbed and had a quick walk down to the pier to take a few photos in the sunshine and light winds! I did have one eye on the wind as I did my exercises in the warm back garden as Mag pottered with her plants. We once again headed to our favourite bench near the Spa theatre to enjoy the sea view, very relaxing it was too! We then continued through the gardens and up to the town centre to Underwoods to buy several clay plants pots, so many we had to go home to get the van to pick them up! I then watched the Red Roses easily beat Italy, so the decider will be good next week when they have to beat France to win the 6 Nations! Tomorrow is looking breezy but cloudy and cooler but will check out The Dip in the morning! Photo Album here |
